Like us, dogs need beauty sleep too! But as we all have probably experienced, if our dog has sleepless nights, then we can all land up with a pretty stressful night. Here are few tips to help your dog sleep uninterrupted all night:

• With a new puppy, it is very important to establish a set sleeping place on the very first night. You have to train them and repetition is the key.
• Dogs are happy and comfortable when the same things happen everyday in the same way. Try not to change a lot of things around the dog or if anything changes try to be very patient.
• Sometimes you have to be commanding to establish a correct behavior.
• An incident or stressful event or even small changes in the environment can disturb the dog s routine and affect sleeping habits like new place or new dog bed, or new crate, etc.
• Keep the dogs sleeping area clean, dampness can make the dog restless! Everything proof or water proof dog beds can help.
• Good balanced diet at regular intervals of time plays an important role. Specially avoid feeding dog just before sleeping time or the dog will be too energetic to sleep.
• Daily exercise is also essential. Help your dog to get tired by going on a walk with him, let him run around, the more energy dog drains the faster the dog sleeps.
• Depending on your dog create a comfortable sleeping area. An orthopedic or comfy couch or memory form dog bed, bolster dog beds or donut dog beds, bagel dog beds, snuggle ball dog beds, etc. will make your dog feel comfortable and secured.
• Rubbing your dog s belly will make them feel good and you can even get your dog to fall asleep soon.
• Though I am not a fan of this tip but sometimes if your dog is barking or whining or restless or scared or aggressive, you might want to give your dog a relaxing supplement. Like a few squirts of calming spray will help your dog relieve and sleep throughout the night.
